Then we read Chinua Achebe’s “Civil Peace” and took reading notes. If we had time, we finished our notes on the story and turned them in. If there wasn’t enough time, you took them home to finish them.
One last thing was that I asked for the student shelves in the rear of the room to be organized properly.
Don’t forget to study the vocabulary on pp. 159-160 (viv & tort).
